Almost half of European people live with a pet.
In 16 percent of cases they are exotic or unconventional species (says the latest Eurispes report). They are roden- ts, reptiles, birds, fish, insects, spiders, etc, .. that, born and raised in captivity, live in our homes and keep us company in their own way … The trend has grown exponentially during and after the lock- down when the humans have realized that they have the time and desire to look after their pet and today the farms of geckos, salamanders, turtles, mice, etc .. are struggling to meet the requests for purchases and adoptions.
